Michael Maltzan’s essay “The Possibility of the Public” is featured in the current issue of Lotus International (152). The piece considers the state of public space in Los Angeles. Star Apartments, currently under construction in downtown Los Angeles, is also included in the issue in a companion article entitled “A Space of Parallel Experiences”.
