MICHAEL MALTZAN NAMED "2012 GAME CHANGER" BY METROPOLIS MAGAZINE

Michael Maltzan has been named a “2012 Game Changer” by Metropolis Magazine. The architecture and design magazine announced its second annual list of Game Changers today in a press release. Intended to recognize influential leaders in design, this year’s class of Games Changers come from a range of disciplines including architecture, real estate, business, graphic design, typography, healthcare, technology and education. Executive Editor, Martin C. Pedersen commented “Our class of 2012 is a diverse lot, but its members share an important trait: their community-based work has broader implications for the world at large, demonstrating the power of design to forge real change.”

The other 2012 Game Changers are Pete Balik, Mia Birk, Vishaan Chakrabarti, Tim Duggan, John Edelman, Ruth Finkelstein, Rob Kalin, the team of Laura Kurgan and Sarah Williams, Katie Salen, and Mirko Zardini.
