MICHAEL MALTZAN AT ABITARE'S FESTARCH FESTIVAL IN PERUGIA, ITALY

Michael Maltzan recently participated in the 2012 Festarch conference, an international architecture festival held in Perugia, Italy from June 7th-10th. Organized by Abitare, the festival focused on the theme “Cities within the City” which prompted speakers and audiences to consider the multiplying of urban places within our cities. Maltzan presented a lecture of recent and ongoing MMA projects that address this theme. He also joined in conversation with architect Giancarlo Mazzanti and moderator Yuri Grigoryan to consider the question “Is public space a common good?”
