PRINCIPAL & ASSOCIATES

Michael Maltzan Architecture, Inc. is pleased to announce that Gee-ghid Tse has been named a Principal, Tom Fryer a Senior Associate, and Sara Jacinto and James Leng as Associates. The MMA leadership team is comprised of Design Principal Michael Maltzan, Managing Principals Betty Tanaka and Tim Williams, Senior Associate Jen Lathrop, and Associate Edward Tung.

Principal Gee-ghid Tse joined MMA in 2008 and has worked as the senior project designer on many high-profile projects including the Hammer Museum, the Winnipeg Art Gallery Inuit Art Centre, and Regen Projects Gallery. A Los Angeles native, Gee-ghid is a registered architect in California and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is NCARB certified and a LEED Accredited Professional with Specialty in Building Design and Construction.

Senior Associate Tom Fryer is a licensed architect in California with more than fifteen years of architectural and graphic design experience. He has worked on a wide range of project types at many scales and is currently the Project Manager for MMA projects in California and Massachusetts.

Associate Sara Jacinto has more than ten years of experience, working first in Switzerland and later in New York before moving to Los Angeles. Sara contributed to a broad range of project types from museums to private residences before joining MMA as the Project Manager for the Inuit Art Centre at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

Associate James Leng has six years of experience in architectural design at various scales. Since joining MMA he has worked as a Project Designer on a wide range of projects including Crest Apartments and The Brickyard at Playa Vista.
