SIXTH STREET VIADUCT IN
THE LOS ANGELES TIMES

The design for the new Sixth Street Viaduct was featured on the cover of today’s Los Angeles Times.  Crediting the project as “a bridge to a different future” the article discusses the viaduct design with input from project team partners including bridge design architect Michael Maltzan, lead consultant and engineering firm HNTB, and key city leaders.  The new Viaduct spans the Los Angeles River and will connect the Boyle Heights and Arts District neighborhoods.  The $420 million project, led by the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering, is the largest bridge project in the history of Los Angeles.  Currently under construction, the bridge is expected to be completed in 2019.
