Michael Maltzan was named the 2016 Gold Medal Presidential Honoree by the AIA Los Angeles.  Conferred by the AIA|LA Board of Directors, the Presidential Honors Program recognizes architects and individuals for their passion, talent, and undeniable contribution to Los Angeles.  The Gold Medal is the chapter’s highest honor and recognizes the long-term contributions and lasting impact of an individual architect.

Maltzan joins a highly distinguished group of past Gold Medal winners and an outstanding group of 2016 Presidential Honorees.  This year’s AIA | LA honorees were recognized at the AIA|LA’s annual awards celebration on October 24, 2016 in Los Angeles.
