Gene Lee joined MMA in 2024 as a summer intern. Prior to MMA, he interned at architectural offices in San Francisco Bay Area and Hong Kong. He earned both his Master of Architecture I and Bachelor of Arts, Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was awarded the Sooky Lee Housing Prize, the California Homebuilding Foundation Fellowship, and the Raymond Watson Prize for community awareness designs.
